1. SUITCASE DOG BED
Although you may dream of whisking your pooch away with you in your suitcase it isn’t particularly advisable, so we’ve found an alternative! All you need to do is find or buy an old suitcase, remove or glue the lid open and add in a fun printed cushion.

2. TEEPEE DOG BED
The most unusual dog bed we have found is this teepee concoction from Ariele Alasko, a Brooklyn-based furniture builder. Slightly more challenging than other beds you may need to get some sewing experience first as this is a fiddly one. Follow instructions in this videofrom Anna to create your own.

7. DIY DOG CRATE SIDE TABLE
Not all dogs beds are created for their aesthetics as there are some cases when dogs have to learn to sleep or stay in certain conditions. Dogs often need to spend time in crates whilst travelling, at the vets or staying in kennels. This crate is easily hidden by a curtain and is a stress-free way of ensuring they are happy and comfortable in any situation.

8. MODERN DIY DOG BED
This bed is the perfect puppy perch from which to lounge about in the day on and sleep at night. Kate from Centsational Girl has chosen to use outside as a day bed for her dachshund but it works equally well inside. We love the stripey vibe and think it would look fabulous in  any colour combination!
